They then informed me that if I had e-mailed them in advance they could have done something about it!!!!!! The room had a strong odour of cigarette smoke and musk.The ceiling above the bed had a pink substance that looked like it had been there for years, we had to ask for towels, the television went from colour to black and white this is when the television worked.
This was flatly refused, and they said there was rooms available but they were being kept for guests who were arriving at the weekend. That really should of rang alarm bells!!!!! We arrived and I asked if possible to get a pool view and two double beds in our room just as 2001. The years have not been good to this hotel.I had e-mailed the hotel with some basic requests as a surprise for my wife for our anniversary several times and they never bothered to reply. We travelled from the UK.We first booked here in 2001 and decided to go back there as part our 10 year anniversary. We have stayed in this hotel twice in the last ten years.
